Plastic number

I have removed your addition of a claimed link between Nautilus shells and the plastic constant from the plastic number article. I agree with David Eppstein - the link you provided does not support this claim or mention the plastic constant. Although the plastic constant falls within the given range of 1.24 to 1.43, this could just be numerical coincidence - other mathematical constants also fall within this range (square root of 2, for example). Of course, if you have another source that explicitly claims a link between Nautilus shells and the plastic constant then feel free to add it to the article Gandalf61 (talk) 09:44, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
