Date formats

Please remember the check the established date format of an article before changing the formats used within. You can usually see which format is used by checking near the top of an article after clicking Edit. Generally:

• Articles relating to American topics use mdy dates
• Articles relating to non-American topics use dmy dates
• Articles relating to Canadian, East Asian, Filipino, or South African topics can use either as long as it remains consistent throughout the article.
