Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Uneinvitation[edit]

I never use the PROD process. As far as I'm concerned, it's worthless, since anybody can come along and remove the prod tag for any reason and we just have to go through the AfD process anyway. Corvus cornix 19:28, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heh. See the history of Direct physics‎. I put a db-nn on it, that got removed and a prod put on, I put a prod2 on it, that got contested, and now we're at AfD. Corvus cornix 23:03, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But PROD has still helped us take care of hundreds of articles a day that would have taken up space on AFD. On most of those articles, the creator doesn't even care enough about the article to remove the tag, so why have a discussion about it? AmeriTales[edit]

I'm new to Wikipedia. Two weeks ago, I added a page about a pioneering company called AmeriTales. It provides content targeted towards kids using real life characters. Our entry was not a marketing/promotional thing. It was in compliance with Wikipedia's policy on providing information to users that are interested in historical characters.
