February 2010[edit]

LunaFriend, please comment on the Luna talk page regarding your large, seemingly non-NPOV edits in the section, "More POV pushing?" Thanks. --SkagitRiverQueen (talk) 19:10, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hi LunaFriend,

Welcome to Wikipedia. I just wanted to say that I'm sure we'll sort out the issues with the Luna (orca) article eventually, and it might take some time. The article has had a troubled history at least since December. This weekend and this week are really busy for me, but I'll try to help sort out what's going on sometime soon. By way of introduction, I've written much of the Killer whale, Sea otter, and Springer (orca) articles. I don't have any affiliation at all with any of the players in the Springer or Luna story, unless you count sending a cheque once a year to the Wild Killer Whale Adoption program :) I've taken a look and your edits appear to be made in good faith and I haven't seen anything excessively self-serving. Thanks very much, Clayoquot! I will post some more info on the Luna talk page, too. LunaFriend (talk) 18:52, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck[edit]

Hi Suzanne,

I'm so sorry that I haven't helped out more with the Luna article. I'm feeling some burnout when it comes to writing about whales these days, and just haven't been able to feel inspired. I'm going to give myself a break, try to regain some sense of spontaneity, and try to shake this pressure that I put on myself. I would really love it if you could contribute more of your expertise to Wikipedia. Anyway, take care, and Happy Canada Day! Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 05:33, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
