The Best Way Out Is Through[edit]

Well, Mark. I hope you will reconsider. This was an unfortunate situation. LaraLove 19:36, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Lara for keeping your cool while everything around was boiling. Such virtues are very scarce among those who wield power. You are a wonderful girl. The wine is on me if I ever meet you in person :o) MarkMarek (talk) 19:52, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I don't drink wine, but I'll take a soda. ;) Mark, I must stress again my apologies for how some of our admins treated you. It was an unfortunate set of events. However, I spoke with them and unblocked you with the hope that it might help mend the situation. I really do hope that you may decide to return to editing after a few days of cool down. Best regards, LaraLove 02:49, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ouch, I totally failed on that one. I was formerly going to say that the beer was on me, but then I though wine sounded more like a drink of your choice, so I went with it. Bad guess :(
Thank you once again, Lara. Your objectivity among profound and blatant favoritism of other admins made a difference. You are a true asset to the community and there's very few of them. I have no doubt this way in life will get you far. I would like to sincerely wish you the best of luck in whatever awaits you in the days to come. This game is over for me, but abuse of power on here is out of control and it's about time someone brought it up and put a stop to it. I'm going to chop a few heads before I say my final good byes. Future generations of wikipedians deserve to be aware of it and if I can prevent just one injustice, the time and effort put into it will be worth it. Take care, Lara MarkMarek (talk) 03:14, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
