I think that you have done a great job so far and I would rate the article a 4/5. I think the best section of your article has to be the "Background and Causes" section because you really narrow down the 3 perspectives (United States gov., Mexican gov., and Illegal Immigrants) that your topic will cover and it really gave insight on the policies of border security. I thought that you also gave insight to the reader by pointing out the main problem that the United States and Mexico were having. That the U.S. was looking for cheap labor to support it's agricultural businesses and Mexico was looking to industrialize but illegal immigration was still occurring. The only thing that I believe could make your article better would be to be more specific with some of the illegal immigration events but I understand that there is little to no documentation of some of the harsh acts. Your documentation is very well done as well.

Adding content into an existing article[edit]

Hey, Matt! Just looking through some student contributions to see if I can help anyone out. Shoot me a message on my talk page if you have any questions. Meanwhile, I'm not sure if you knew there is already an Operation Wetback article, albeit a brief one. You may find some useful information/formatting/references there so that when you add your content, you are building on the already-existing work and don't spend your time duplicating efforts. Let me know if you'd like help doing so. Good luck! JMathewson (WMF) (talk) 22:17, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
