Baloch people[edit]

You can not put images of random people or images portraying violence. The title section is for highly notable Baluch people. And this is not vandalism, putting incorrect information is vandalism. Usualphonexs (talk) 12:40, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You're being discussed[edit]

Hello Mdmday. Please see a discussion at User talk:EdJohnston#When to provide the name of a Bollywood film in Urdu script as well as English and Hindi. You may add your own comment there if you wish. Since admins may decide to take some action on this, it would be wise for you to stop removing Urdu script until a conclusion is reached. I remind you that using more than one account to revert a contested article is forbidden by WP:SOCK, in case that is a consideration. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 18:30, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid that what you've just described, about sharing your ideas with your friends offline, meets the definition of WP:MEAT, which violates our sock policy. If you continue to remove Urdu script from film articles you risk getting a block from other admins, not just me. EdJohnston (talk) 19:35, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

History of India[edit]

The article is about the whole indian subcontinent till 1947, so the persian and greek conquests are valid. I dont know why it was named "history of india" or such. but there were lots of discussions and this halfway consensus was agree. check the talk page archives.--Sodabottle (talk) 15:13, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mdmday. Losing ones caste is a minor offence in Hinduism. It is not a big deal.In the Manu Smriti, chapter 11, verses 60 to 67 there is a list of minor offences that can cause loss of caste.By losing ones caste one does not cease to belong to that caste.Although he cannot carry out the duties that are assigned to him by his caste.A Hindu can lose his caste by traveling abroad. I have read that after his studies when Mahatma Ghandi went back to India he had to go through "shudhi karan" purification ceremony to be reinstated back to his original caste. So, there are ways to be reinstated back to ones caste if someone loses his caste for some reason. As for muslim Rajputs although they have lost their right to perform their duties according to their Kshatriya dharma, but they have not ceased to be Rajputs. They are still Rajputs. If a muslim Rajput decides to convert back to Hindu religion he can be reinstated to his former Kshatriya Dharma and Rajput caste status, by going through "shudhi karan" purificatory rite. The important thing is that one must be a Rajput by birth in order to be reinstated back to his Kshatriya Dharma and Rajput caste status. Rather than saying that muslim Rajputs are not Rajputs anymore, what you should do is try to persuade them politely to convert back to Hindu religion and try to reinstate them back to their kshatriya Dharma and Hindu Dharma.99.99 per cent muslim rajputs were converted by force. No one gives up religion of their forefathers willingly.I think this is the best way forward.Rajbaz (talk) 18:43, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
