Hello all, my name is Alexis Miles and I am a member of the Queen's group. The topic that we will be creating a Wikipedia article on is Emergency Management in American Universities. As a group we came up with this subject because we wanted to know more about how other universities deal with emergency management planning. Emergency situations on a university campus can occur in many different ways including hurricanes, flooding, earthquakes, terrorist attacks, etc. Our goal for this project is to determine how different universities plan for, respond to, recover from, and mitigate in the event of any type of emergency. Since there is not standard method in place for all universities we hope that the information we find will help give some schools ideas of things they can implement into their own emergency management plans.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
