Star Trek images[edit]

You said that you wanted to know what was needed to keep the images. All images uploaded need to have a clear source, fair use rationale, and copyright tag. Images from startrek.com should not be loaded, as the site's rules prohibit it for this use, and it has been discussed at length for the publicity shots of several characters from the series. The best accepatable images are generally screen caps, with the source clearly stating the name of the series and episode name it was taken from. It also needs a fair use rationale for every article its being used in, not just in general. Then you need to make sure it has the proper copyright tag, is it from a TV show, is it from a film, etc. For a great example, just see image:JadziaDax.jpg, image:TomParis.jpg, and image:GeordiLaForge.jpg - the images have all the required information. I myself have copied and reused this as a template on other Trek images, though you need to make sure you change it to conform with the image/article it is for, as it has information pertinent to their respective articles. In a recent edit, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to other English-speaking countries, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the appropriate variety of English used there. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Thanks, I didn't know about that. "artefact" was listed as a spelling mistake by my browser so I thought it was a typo. I still think it makes it look wrong, whereas something like color or colour, defense or defence, seems more common in plural usage, but I respect that. Thanks again. License tagging for File:DarkHorse.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:DarkHorse.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. you don't know me but I'm contacting you because from your contributions on here you seem to know a lot about some things that im having a hard time understanding and I'm trying to build a machine that requires knowledge of which i don't have. I was hoping I could ask you some questions about high frequency RF waves and plasma carrier waves, sideband harmonics, oscillators and transmitters? is there any way that you would be willing to communicate with me to answer a few questions.
