Page move[edit]

I see that you moved the article Berger Paints India to Berger Paints. Although the article had originally been about Berger Paints, it had been changed, so that the current version of the article was in fact about Berger Paints India, making the change of article title inappropriate. Also, whenever you move a page, please give an edit summary explaining why you are moving it, because even if you have a very good reason, that reason may not be evident to other editors. On this occasion, the move makes very little difference, as the article was created as blatant spam, and despite repeated effort by constructive editors to tone it down, it has been repeatedly edited by single purpose editors apparently working on behalf of Berger Paints to make sure that it remains as a promotional page, and so the article will be deleted. However, I decided to warn you about being careful about page moves for future benefit. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 15:45, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sir I was unaware about the employees editing the article.
However, today Berger Paints India is the only existing company and promote themselves simply as Berger Paints rather than as Berger Paints India like they were a subsidiary branch of a foreign company!
However I see your point sir!
Thanking you,

General comment on your editing[edit]

After posting the message above, I had a look at a few of your other edits. On the whole you seem to be doing a good job of cleaning up poorly written text, improving links, and so on. Thanks for your contributions. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 15:53, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Delhi Sultanate does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! High Speed Rail Corporation of India Limited[edit]

Hi Numwarz,

I've put your text into your own user space at User:NUMWARZ/High_Speed_Rail_Corporation_of_India_Limited. Now you can work at it at your own pace, without any risk that other editors will remove it. Once you think it's ready to go back into the main article space, you can put the code {{subst:submit}} at the top of the article, and more experienced users will review it.

You might like to read WP:Your first article. I know this isn't your first article, but the information there will be relevant to help you get this article into the right state.

I hope this helps! --Slashme (talk) 12:24, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
