A tag has been placed on Romanian local barons requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Ion Iliescu. However, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. Thank you. Pcap ping 15:42, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ANI[edit]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.

Hello. The article was deleted because it was previously discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Local Baron and deleted. After reviewing the new article, I concluded that I should not have deleted it.

I see that you have started drafting a new article. Would you like me to restore the article as it was yesterday, with its sources? — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 19:18, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please restore it with the sources if you can. I only found a cached version without the sources. Thanks for undestanding, and excuse me for being rude.
I've restored the article. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 19:36, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(ec) : I suggest opening a new AfD, or relisting the old one due to low participation. I think that despite adding more references, these do not change the nature of the article WP:SYNT and WP:BLP problems. Note that User:Biruitorul who promissed to work on it in the AfD is currently topic banned from all Eastern Europe articles (ArbCom decision). Pcap ping 19:26, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomoteticus, can you give us an idea how you managed to remember the password for this account after not using it at all for 5 years and making a grand total of two edits with it in 2005? Pcap ping 19:33, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What can I say, I finally realized my selfless side :) I want to start contributing to the community, and my articles will improve over time, maybe with the help of others.

I have nominated Romanian local barons, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Romanian local barons. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Pcap ping 19:45, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
