Ecology[edit]

Hi OpenScience - I hope I didn't chase you away from ecology! If you have time - it would be great to have another ecologist come over to help out. Wikipedia is a great resource for high-school students and as a socio-cultural movement. Your collaboration would be a great asset and I look forward to reading your input. I was feeling a little defensive when you first posted after coming from evolution - where the discussion pages can get a little heated.Thompsma (talk) 06:59, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Thompsma! Don't worry, I was not going to be chased away. ;-) Besides, your later remarks were friendly enough anyway. It's just lack of time that made me not respond yet. And I didn't note your remark here on my talk page until just now. I have to figure out how this watch list thing works. Anyway, I am reading a bit and I have written a lead proposal, I should post it on the discussion page even though it's not perfect, at least we can get a discussion going then. --OpenScience (talk) 16:23, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello OpenScience

Per your comment at the article talk page, I've posted a message at User talk:Moonriddengirl‎ asking for someone to check out the possibility of any copyright violation at the WP end. My initial impression from the general appearance of the martinfrost.ws site as a place where interesting information is assembled from all quarters is that the material was probably copied there from an old version of the WP article (probably before the ICJ ruling in 2007), but that would need to be checked out by someone more competent in these matters than myself. User:NortyNort has just investigated and thinks the internal evidence suggests that the martinfrost.ws material may have been copied from WP in 2006. See his follow-up to your post at the article Talk page. Opbeith (talk) 11:01, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
