Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'youtube\.com' (link(s): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4byxDtoczo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ecnihpu6_8) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Compressed air car. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it.

Last Chance[edit]

If you add youtube links to articles they will be removed automatically by bots. So, why do you persist? Greg Locock (talk) 09:41, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral point of view[edit]

Hi, welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you are aware that Wikipedia strives for a neutral point of view for its articles. As such, I hope you are aware of this guideline: WP:COI. I mention this, because I read your user page and saw your recent edit to Motor Development International. V (talk) 08:48, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am currently at the 2008 New York Auto Show to get current information on the MDI Compressed Air Vehicles. Please look at my youtube channel "CATvolution", where I personally interviewed the X-Prize representative and the Compressed Air Vehicle inventor, Guy Negre, and MDI's Official US representative, Shiva Vencat. Now i do not know enough about wikipedia to outwit you, and i absolutely refuse to get into an edit war with you (even if i know how to).
But I do wish to understand how you know more about MDI & compressed air vehicles to be 100% sure that those npov additions I made are either inappropriate or inaccurate... because from the mouth of the inventor when i interviewed him, his words state that a large amount of the information on the wiki page is obsolete or completely false.
kk, i just looked at the page and couldn't tell what reverts were made because the ny auto show info is there, the onecat versions are there (but i found out this weekend that the information is true for the previous model that cannot be sold in North America). I haven't gotten much sleep because of all the video i've been editing and information i'm trying to compile. If i'm sounding cranky it's because i am when on 2-3 hrs of sleep, so i don't mean anything personal. i understand that you don't want ppl crapping on the articles, and i respect that. I just want you to understand that with the information that i got this weekend, the whole article has to be re-done for factual inaccuracies and obsolete information.
I won't be going home until the 30th, so i don't know when i can get back on to continue this discussion. tks and ttyl 8-) Pablo70 (talk) 11:03, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You do not need to outwit me and edit wars are frowned upon. I am not saying that the edit(s) you made are inaccurate. I'm saying that adding links to your own website can be misunderstood as self-promotion. I didn't revert anything. V (talk) 20:11, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

kk... understood now. it's just that that page is the only one that exists with the info... discussing with the MDI usa rep I found that these guys have been totally burned by web ppl and frauded a lot by scammers.

As far as wiki is concerned, I won't touch anything regarding mdi and I'm 100% ok if you trash everything that i put up, because at the auto show, i have been informed that the information that i have is correct for the historic previous version of their vehicles that are not road legal in north america, but never mention that fact.

they are doing stuff that is so wrong from a web development pov, you wouldn't believe me, thinking that noone would do dumb stuff like that, but they are because they have been screwed so bad in the past by irresponsible unethical persons, that they don't know who to trust or listen to. anyway, i could go on forever in this rant but i have to get ready to go to the auto show.

I will trash my wiki account and never made an edit again, and i formally request that you trash/revert everything that i have done, because I need to focus on the fan websites i made for guy negre's compressed air vehicles... lookup youtube and search catvolution for my channel. I don't want to mess with wiki again cause i don't know what i'm doing and i might make it worse like the last time i tried to add a youtube video to the 5 that were already there... and I ended up bringing attention to the article and someone just trashed all the youtube videos.

kk... i would consider it a personal favour (i'm canadian, we use "u") if you removed everything that i touched in the article because it's obsolete in ways you can't even know. i'll focus on improving and making more "fan" webs to focus google traffic to their crappy mdi.lu website (search "air car" in google and tell me what page you see mdi.lu on... i stopped at page 7), and not to the guy they had to can for unethical behaviour, (not naming names, but it's been #1 "air car" for 8 years).

from that youtube catvolution channel and other information, experts at navigating wiki can assemble what information you want to have in these articles or not. I'll make a page giving the my understanding of what is correct and false, which is better than what is currently there, but not as good as what guy negre or mdi knows, because they are very tight with their info because of their previous burnings by scumbags. [Shiva the u.s. rep just called about doing an interview but won't take my advice, he wants to be nice to me for all the work/help/educating i'm doing for him, but he just won't listen when i give him web advice, because of screwing of scumbags past. It's like i'm trying to rehab an horrible abused animal from the humane society that doesn't trust people anymore.... it is soooo freakin sad.] kk. tks and bye Pablo70 (talk) 12:42, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

kk... how do i trash my account? i'll check when i get home on sunday/monday tks Pablo70 (talk) 12:44, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am not an admin. I am not even a very experienced wikipedia editor. So quiting wikipedia because of something I said (as you seem to imply) is completely unnecessary. If nothing else, you might be one of the first people to know when MDI does publish some new information. If there is information that is only available on your site, I think the recommended course of action is to say so on the articles discussion (talk) page. Don't just say "look at my site for the newest information", but be specific "I was at the 2008 New York Auto Show, and mdi had some interesting things to say. I'd add it to the article, but I can't because the information is only on my website and would be a conflict of interest."
I don't think it is possible to close your wikipedia account. And finally, regarding "i would consider it a personal favour (i'm canadian, we use "u")", I'm dutch, we can read and write both favor and favour :-) V (talk) 14:22, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

kk... that makes sense, but after thinking about it, other than Air Car related articles, I probably wouldn't be editing any other items in wikipedia. So the perceived conflict of interest would be pretty high. I might just rely on site visitors with wiki experience to make adjustments to the articles, or heavily disclaim what i want to put on in the talk page as you suggest.

I'm really having problems splitting my time between my new job (waaaay more strict on surfing than my previous job), seeing what's needed on the fan site and surfing for all the bad info on the net any trying to figure out ways to update it. It is fun though... but quickly becoming an addiction lol. Just got my passport renewed and i gotta find a week that i can take off (no pay) to visit the france mdi factory (may have to fake an injury or wait till June/July).
