Auckland Grammar School on mk Wiki[edit]

I shall do so with pleasure. It against my every principle however, to write incomplete articles. Therefore, except for the trivia and the alumni (being too trivial at international level), I shall translate the complete article, together with the template. I might add that I will shorten the list of alumni to the people of true international significance. I will link you the article here as soon as it is finished. Interwiki will be added as a matter of course. --B. Jankuloski 12:40, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The "Incidents" sub-section is totally irrelevant at the International level and I suspect that it was purposely written by Antagonists of Auckland Grammar School in their futile attempts to discredit the school. In New Zealand, this is known as the "Tall poppy syndrome". ---- 10:47, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay[edit]

Golden Bay Air are holding some seats for us until 21 November

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.

Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.

Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
