Reverted edits on Jamie Dornan article.[edit]

We appreciate your will to contribute to Wikipedia. But do remember, a mainstream article is not a place to practise. You can practise on your sandbox. Thanks. Fitzwilliams (talk) 16:20, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was not practising. I merely added factual information, which it appears you take issue with. Piers39293 (talk) 01:38, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, it would appear you're an Irish nationalist. Of course you dislike facts. Piers39293 (talk) 01:41, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your statements are attacking. With fare acknowledgement, what you wrote were not facts. County Down is in Belfast, Ireland. Not in the United Kingdom. Before writing know about the accuracy of your information. Fitzwilliams (talk) 03:44, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My statement was accurate. The far-Right Irish nationalist position, which you very clearly hold, is that Belfast is in Ireland. The reality is that Belfast is on the island of Ireland, but not part of Ireland.

As part of Northern Ireland, Belfast is part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Piers39293 (talk) 04:30, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am not here to fight about what is what. But do mind that such disruption in an article is not acceptable. Because of your edit, the only visible thing on the head of the article was ', United Kingdom'. And you call it factual edit? Fitzwilliams (talk) 06:35, 17 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There's no 'fighting' - he was born in a UK city. The nationalist stance within to the current article makes it biased, and therefore unreliable. Removing the nationalist slant is not 'disruption' - it's making Wikipedia more accurate. The editor changed half way through editing. That's a fault with Wikipedia's CMS, although I do agree that specific issue is disruptive - but the correct way to fix it is not to remove the factual changes that removed the nationalism.
