License tagging for Image:Pdrp brochure.pdf[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Pdrp brochure.pdf. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Need help?[edit]

I fixed up some of your edits. I suggest you try using the preview button more often. If you can't get something to look right, drop me a line and I'll help you out. – I had to flag Nathan Smith Davis as a copyvio because we have no permission to use that text. Sorry about that.

While I'm at it: Welcome!

Thank you very much for your comments. I will take them to heart. I have received copy right clearance permission from AMA to re-use the materials. I believe that I have posted on the appropriate section. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ramange (talkcontribs) 19:23, 18 May 2007
Adding content from a website where every page says "Copyright 1995-2005 American Medical Association. All rights reserved." makes many of us nervous. It would be best if you could add a license note to the pages that we can use, or add a license page somewhere (see the WWF's content licensing for a recent example – if you do that, please make sure it's clear to which pages the license applies). Feel free to send me an e-mail if you need help. Rl 05:47, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Women Pilot Magazine[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Women Pilot Magazine, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Women Pilot Magazine seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Women Pilot Magazine, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 02:17, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notice[edit]

Hello, I have left a notice at Talk:Nathan Smith Davis indicated what you must do to have the AMA release permission to use their material for this article. Please complete one of the two actions within seven days or the article will have to be deleted as a copyright violation. Thanks! --Spike Wilbury 04:35, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
