Dear Rkmepm

Ignorance and misinformation is not a neutral point of view.[edit]

Notice of Prospective Report[edit]

Response Your recent edit is a lie. Your edit is unfounded. You do not understand what the whole controversy was about. Stating facts is not a bias but your presumption is. NPOV, in fact ignorant and unproductive. Please research the facts or stay out of the the discussion. Please research the subject matter (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bennelong_Apartments), via the extensive information available from Sydney's foremost newspaper's archives, on the subject of "The Sydney Opera House", "East Circular Quay", and "The Save East Circular Quay Committee". i.e. The Sydney Morning Herald.

You edit is neither truthful, nor warranted. Please refrain from promoting ignorance and misinformation by taking sides with propaganda from vested interests, and what many people who are aware of the facts, see as corruption. Selling public land worth at least 375 million dollars at the time, for 5 million dollars, to the developers of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bennelong_Apartments, is hardly a Robin Hood scenario. Dear Administrators, or To whom it may concern:-

Re -Article:- Bennelong Apartments - Wikipedia

If reference to international media attention to the most controversial urban development in Australian History, is deemed to be bias, Wikipedia administrators need to be alerted to editors who are reverting legitimate, correct and verifiable information in favour of misinformation or omitted essential facts. I believe that the purpose of Wikipedia is to record, not whitewash, history. Apart from Bennelong Apartments - Wikipedia, Sydney Cove is the actual location of the establishment of European Settlement in Australia, which is celebrated as “Australia Day” on the 26th of January each year. The specific area of land within Sydney Cove is known as the Gateway Site. At this time the actual landing site of the First Fleet is buried in the basement carpark of a 44 storey commercial tower. The Bennelong Apartments are a result of the same commercial interests.

My “motto” as stated in my first sandbox practice is as follows:-

"Sandbox of time. Not for malice but for truth, Record what would otherwise be lost In the quicksands of time. Nobody lives forever.”

It would be more polite to express an opinion which is based on facts instead of the prejudice displayed in the following notice. I’m happy to be advised on improving formatting or any other technical issue, but not at the expense of “truth”. Is it possible to send two important scanned newspaper article via email to confirm notability, verifiability, and authenticity of my claims? Thank you for your time and consideration. [edit] Dear Rkmepm, Thank you for your comments on my edit on the "Bennelong Apartments" article. I will try to improve the formatting, and I hope that you will dismiss your unwarranted and unfounded bias. Tony Rodi (talk) 21:41, 26 December 2016 (UTC) Please try to be helpful, instead of promoting misinformation regarding an internationally most controversial development in Australia. My role as convenor of the Save East Circular Quay Committee, along with my association with Sydney Opera House Architect, Lionel Todd, places me in a better position to be both critical and informative regarding this issue than yourself. My supporters in this controversy included some of the most well known environmental activists in Australia, and international identities such as Cate Blanchett, Barry Humphries, U2, Bono, Helena Christensen and many more. If you think that my formatting is poor I am open to your suggestions for improvement. If you think there is any bias, you should do some in-depth research of the extensive media coverage of this issue, in Australia and internationally. This could include unprecedented international newspaper, television, radio and any other multimedia coverage of the foremost historical urban development in Australia. I'm not the one who is edit warring, I am merely clarifying information, and lest you forget, one of the most important rules of Wikipedia editing is that "there are no rules"......... as cited from Wikipedia. PS Dear Rkmepm Please be aware that public land worth over 375 million dollars at the time Bennelong Apartments were built on the Sydney Opera House precinct, was sold to the developers for 5 million dollars. This is not biased, it is much worse, and it's a fact. Dear Rkmepm Here is a link to an archived website.

Please let me know if you would like some more information on the Bennelong Apartments Controversy. A serious article would include some pertinent facts which have thus far, been omitted. This would include proposals for East Circular Quay by some of Sydney's leading architects. The battle for East Circular Quay - The Sydney Opera House Precinct, became an internationally fought urban environmental, cultural, and historic event, the most significant in Australian history since THE FIRST FLEET arrived in Sydney Cove at the commencement of European Settlement on the 26th of January, 1788.

Thanks for your edit[edit]

Hi there - unfortunately I decided to revert your edit on the North Shore (Sydney) page due to a few issues which I’d be happy to discuss. One of the issues is the constant debate of the suburbs or local government areas that are considered part of this subsetted area. It’s been debated on wiki (myself included) for over a decade, and a compromise was made to share the best knowledge of what the North Shore means, or is. You removed a number of suburbs with enough references to support them being part of the north shore, or moved them to “Sometimes considered”. The articles current edit also gives the reader an opportunity to make up their own opinion as to what it is, as it is very subjective. You also added/removed information without some references to support. While I do believe you had the best intent with your edit, I suggest redoing your edit leaving most of the current information as it is, as there’s evidently a major debate within the information provided on the page that already suggests it’s very subjective. Thank you and happy editing! :) HornsbyBbSyd (talk) 08:07, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
