I've created this template under my namespace so that we have an area in which we can work on getting this right. I appreciate any feedback (either in the form of direct corrections or responses here). — Sasuke Sarutobi 16:59, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Much better, especially the idea to add at the bottom of the page. You could substantially improve the situation and settle the debate, by limiting the people on the list to those that were mentioned in The Game. The others are not notable. DutchSeduction 01:48, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad we have got a better template started! I think the criterion for gurus should either be (a) mention in The Game, or (b) enough notability that a wikipedia article already exists on them. I think we should change "Archetypes" to "concepts," and it should include terms like "Average frustrated chump and pickup artist, and eventually other terms and concepts when they become notable enough to have articles of their own. I went ahead and made these changes, though I'm happy to discuss any objections. Another idea could be for a section on the intellectual and historical influences on the community: this would include stuff like Machiavelli, Robert Greene, Casanova, Don Juan, etc... I'm just trying to figure out what to call it. --SecondSight 22:38, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I've added the 'influences on the seduction community' with your list plus Richard Dawkins and Napoleon Hill (although he may be contended). You had to perfect name for it all along. ;)

I've also rejigged the format so that the template can cope with the long lists I'm expecting. — Sasuke Sarutobi 18:52, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
