Additional detail[edit]

Mr. Glisson was a veteran of both the Mexican-American War and the American Civil War. Yet no Wikipedia page existed for him despite numerous references (and some broken links). A missing ingredient had been a biography sponsored by his two sons who survied into adulthood, Oliver (Jr.) and Jacob. The book is rare, therefore expensive and not digitized.
