I've nominated Carleton_New_University_Government, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Carleton_New_University_Government satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Carleton_New_University_Government and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Carleton_New_University_Government during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. -- Esurnir 02:56, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}

Hopefully this gets some help. I am new to Wikipedia and am trying to do constructive updates. Above "mod" targeted article for deletion and noted that I could get rid of it with an explanation. I did that, he reposted exactly what he did the first time seemingly without reading the article or the explanation. Claims don't make sense... Advertizement but he seems to be saying bias... which should be a bias tag and fixed as more people edit it! Why jump the gun and try and delete articles/ignore debate for no reason? Is there some way to stop this harassment? Smartstart1376 03:28, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I can understand what you are getting at, but the arguments that you are making here would do well in the discussion. It won't get deleted for 5 days, and if you address the concerns raised everything will turn out ok :). If you have any further questions feel free to ask by putting up a new {{helpme}}. Cheers —— Eagle101 Need help? 03:41, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) It looks like what you need to do is prove notability for the article. Basically, what is the significance of the Carleton New University Government? The fact that it made some impact on the lives of the people who were involved in it is not sufficient. Did it do anything famous? Have a significant influence on any notable people/historical events/cultural trends? Is it documented anywhere in third-party sources? Think along those lines.
