Hi Srichardson2076. I reverted an edit you made to the Interest in China section on John L. Thornton's page because it included information about two $12.5 million-dollar donations by Thornton to the Brookings Institution, but that information was not found in any of the references in that paragraph. One of the Brookings links says that the center was established "through the generosity of John L. Thornton", but doesn't go into further detail. Hi Srichardson2076. On June 6, 2020, you published an edit to the John L. Thornton article that you labeled, "Fixed degrees. Added additional Board positions." You also removed a sentence from the Career section about Thornton not speaking Chinese at the time of his appointment to Tsinghua University. The reference for that sentence was a New York Times article that clearly explains that Thornton didn't speak Chinese at the time. Please clearly describe all edits upon publication.
