The articles you created have been nominated for deletion

Regarding ANBy, ANCo, and ANEc

[edit]

Please do not remove the {{afd}} tags from these articles. You may participate in the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ANBy. Bear in mind that you are expected to disclose whether you are an article's primary author or if you otherwise have a vested interest in the articles should you participate in the discussion per WP:AFD#How to discuss an AfD/Wikietiquette. I should have dropped you a note when I nominated these articles for deletion yesterday, but as I write this message there should still be three or four days left for the discussion before anything happens. Once again, I welcome your comments. BigNate37T·C 20:24, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you have started adding some of the above pages back into the page for Al Nabad. I don't think this kind of information really adds anything to the Al Nabad article for the same reasons that members of the community have expressed at the AfD discussion: essentially that the content is not the kind of detailed information that an encyclopedia should contain. Also, the article for Al Nabad doesn't seem to be written very neutrally. For example, lines like "We endorse..." make this look like an advertisement rather than an encyclopedia article. I think the article should be more neutral. I will eventually handle that, but I figured I'd give you an opportunity to do so first. Please let me know if you need help or advice doing so. Cheers!--Kchase T 03:22, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You marked this image with {{PD-self}}, which is incorrect. Even if you created the screenshot, screenshots fall under different copyright templates. I replaced the PD-self tag with a {{web-screenshot}} tag. Please go to the image page and add a detailed fair use rationale for this image (for each use of it), as described on Wikipedia:Image description page, as well as the source of the work and copyright information. This is required to allow the fair use image to remain in use on Wikipedia. For an example of how to do this, check out Category:Screenshots of web pages and see how other images have been justified as fair use. BigNate37T·C 20:50, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:ANMag-Issue10.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ANMag-Issue10.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:41, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
