Image:FacciataGesufotofatadaStella med con firma.JPG listed for deletion[edit]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:FacciataGesufotofatadaStella med con firma.JPG has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. —Pilotguy push to talk 02:24, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Leonardo[edit]

Hi Stella! I left you a message on the Leonardo page. I'm away from home at the minute and having difficulty finding time to do anything except combat vandalism.

If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please don't remove the tags like you did on this article. -Sucrine ( ><> talk) 20:20, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

note to readers of Historic House Museum page in Wikipedia[edit]

Thanks for your concern about potential vandalism, but as I am the original author of the pages, and a museologist in a historic house museum, as well as a former collaborator of DEMHIST, ICOM's International Committee on Historic House Museums, I have edited the article as necessary in order to improve it for the reader. As requested by the Wiki comments, I have added links to appropriate Wiki pages and citations for important references for historic house museum professionals. Once this was done, as directed in the Wiki layout pages, I also removed the Wikify tags, as they were no longer necessary. I hope you continue to enjoy the pages, and that you visit a historic house museum in your area, soon. Best regards, StellaMT 14:59, 29 May 2007 (UTC)Stella[reply]
