Greater Manchester[edit]

Wikipedia has a long established convention that the historic/ancient/traditional counties (e.g. Yorkshire and Lancashire) do not still have the pe-1974 boundaries, see Wikipedia:Naming conventions (UK counties). Thus, Greater Manchester exists and has boundaries. Regards, Mr Stephen (talk) 23:57, 2 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to have a personal agenda, against Consensus with other editors and Wikipedia conventions, in your editing on the Greater Manchester and M62 Motorway articles that is considered as Edit warring. Users who engage in edit wars risk being blocked or even banned. Note that an editor who repeatedly restores his or her preferred version is edit warring, whether or not the edits were justifiable: it is no defense to say "but my edits were right, so it wasn't edit warring".
