Very minor grammar point on PAGEOS[edit]

Welcome to someone even newer than I, I disliked having to pick a nit with you on verb tense, but my thesis supervisor many years ago was a real stickler, and it stuck with me :-) I hope you will continue to pick nits (like I) on an otherwise awesome entity like Wikipedia. Revert[edit]

My bad. I thought you had removed the only "is a" statement from that article. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:57, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Moon[edit]

Hi TTT -- I think I would probably not have considered this diff to be "vandalism". I won't restore it because it wasn't particularly useful either, but probably better to avoid provocative language in borderline cases. --Trovatore (talk) 05:37, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, although what do you think junk posts like that should be labelled as instead? I'm not sure if they count as WP:NOTFORUM since they aren't trying to convey anything. TheTerrificTurtwig (talk) 14:34, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I read it as someone who was expressing surprise at having his/her memory of Latin contradicted. I would just leave it there. It didn't do any actual harm. Sometimes the best action is no action. --Trovatore (talk) 17:38, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Extra space[edit]

Hello. I see you've been around a while, but just a reminder that removing extra spaces from wikitext doesn't normally affect the displayed page. Double spacing between sentences is standard in some variants of English, so some articles may be better with those spaces left in. Further information: MOS:DOUBLESPACE. I do appreciate the efforts you're making, but similar activities such as typo fixing might make a more visible and uncontroversial improvement. Thanks, Certes (talk) 22:23, 9 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ah my bad, I assumed they were accidental. Thanks for clarifying. TheTerrificTurtwig (talk) 14:37, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Chersotis multangula[edit]

Can you explain your revision of Chersotis multangula I am working through the Palearctic Noctuidae placing the benefit from German tag only where the German article is well researched (ie from Fibiger) Why is this vandalism ? Regards Notafly (talk) 19:34, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, that was a mistake, I jumped on the broken formatting preemptively. I reverted myself with it fixed. TheTerrificTurtwig (talk) 04:26, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Alls well that ends well.Regards Notafly (talk) 20:51, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
