Wintersun
[edit]The band can go under many labels, the problem with "Extreme (insert subgenre here) metal" is that it is not very defined or used on WIkipedia, although correct in other cases.
I'll give an example: I would call Opeth "Extreme Progressive Metal," but as you can see, on Wikipedia such a label doesn't exist, thus it has been changed to 'Melodic death metal' and 'Progressive metal' (or "Progressive death metal," which I don't really agree with.)
It is better to divide a band's genre (for difficult to categorize bands) into the more than one subgenre they belong to, rather than sum it up in an "Extreme ___ metal" genre, because it is something rarely found on Wikipedia (such as Bodom's article, who could be called 'Extreme power metal')
That's the only reason why I removed it. --Ryouga 22:21, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to The Game (mind game), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.
