Fatima apparitions, authenticity[edit]

Say, you could write a book about this stuff. Ever thought about it? I'm serious. I'm really impressed by what you've been saying in there. It's one of the most cogent defenses of Fatima I've ever heard. --Bluejay Young (talk) 14:17, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Contribs[edit]

Hi, I am glad you came back to edit. My impression:

  • You are way above the knowledge level of the typical Wikipedia editor in various topics.
  • You also write in a scholarly style with longer sentences that are way above the head of the younger readers.

If you just use shorter sentences and simpler linguistic constructs your contributions will be greatly appreciated. Cheers. History2007 (talk) 20:30, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

March 2020[edit]

Information icon Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Siege of Jerusalem (70 CE). Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. As well as changing dates to contradict the sources. Doug Weller talk 15:17, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think you are mistaken. I was looking at two other Wikipedia articles that discuss the same subject and was trying to make this article consistent with them. The other two articles are Second Temple, the section on Destruction of the Temple, and Siege of Jerusalem, 70 CE. These two articles cite sources, but I was lazy and didn't try to recapitulate sources. I basically cut and pasted info from these other articles. Perhaps a cross-reference to the other articles would have been appropriate. I think consistency in Wikipedia is important so I hope we can work this out.Toroid (talk) 16:46, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
