Your edits have pretty much changed the meaning of the article; and have made uncited claims The definition of gangster is one who is a member of a gang; there is no invariably about it. "Everyone is familiar with the word 'gangsta' is a falsehood; you are assuming an american/English speaking audience who has been exposed to that media creation. You assertion that they strived to better themselves is opinion. You offer no citation that they all dealt drugs as you claim and you write as if there are no gangsters outside of the US.
