Hello,

I think the school article you just improved is really interesting. Is there someone who could add more pictures and references to make this article "world class". We have no good Nepalese school articles. Hope this is of interest Victuallers 09:09, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Langtang National Park, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.dnpwc.gov.np/national-parks-langtang.asp. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 11:07, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello[edit]

Hi, Utsav. I have not thanked you for signing my autograph page yet. So, thank you very much. By the way, you're fairly new to Wikipedia, are you not? If you need any help, you can ask me at my talk page, or look here. Its the Help page that is on your left. Its rather long, though, so be prepared for some long reading.

By the way, I believe you're interested in getting a new signature. If you're still interested in having a fanciful signature, ask me. So long for now. Cheers! --Zacharycrimsonwolf 13:04, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Budhanilkantha School/Cultural traits and quirks, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Budhanilkantha School/Cultural traits and quirks. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Falcon8765 (talk) 05:02, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem: Rara National Park[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Rara National Park, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://www.dnpwc.gov.np/national-parks-rara.asp, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under allowance license, then you should do one of the following:

It may also be necessary for the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Rara National Park saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! – Toon 16:57, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright followup.[edit]

Hi. I came across the article Rara National Park as it was flagged by CorenSearchBot as containing content very similar to this website. After perusing your other contributions, I've come across Langtang National Park and Shivapuri National Park which also contain content copied from similar websites. Unfortunately, Wikipedia cannot use text from elsewhere (including books, websites and journals) without it being released under the Creative Commons Attribution or Attribution Sharealike licenses (see Wikipedia:Copyright for more details). The websites in question have a note at the bottom of the page which notes that all rights are reserved. What this means is that the current articles will be deleted unless a new article is created with new, original or appropriately licensed content.

Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and those who continuously infringe after being warned will be blocked from editing. I understand that you may not have been aware of these requirements, so you won't be blocked for the above, but it would be much appreciated if you could create clean, replacement articles at the temporary subpages as advised on the templates that have been placed on the articles; otherwise the content will be deleted. You can use pages as sources of information, but not sources of sentences. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help. Regards, – Toon 19:52, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Sangita Thapa Magar[edit]

Hello Utsav80,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Sangita Thapa Magar for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Supdiop talk 15:57, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:52, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article 10+2 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is a redundant page. 10+2 of Nepal is covered in National Examination Board (Nepal) and India in Education in India

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. nirmal (talk) 04:12, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
