Editing and signing

I think you are asking me there is no talk button on the page. You can always go to discussion page and "edit this page". You can also type four tildas to sign automatically with user name and timestamp. mlpkr 13:29, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Sampajanna edit

Howdy - I just undid your edit of the Sampajanna article and I wanted to explain why. In the subsection discussing Buddhaghosa's commentary on the Satipatthana Sutta's concept of Sampajanna, you added:

• beyond reach (agocara): In Hindu philosophy, agocara is more used with reference to Supreme Self or paramAtma to indicate that it is beyond perception of senses, mind and intellect. For example vAcAmagocara means beyond description by words.

I assume what motivated this addition was that Buddhaghosa identifies that one aspect of Sampajanna involves gocara. (Perhaps you had done a search on gocara and found the Sampajanna article?) But, neither Buddhaghosa nor any other commentary that I know of regarding Sampajanna mentions agocara.

Frankly, I tried to think of a way to include your addition as an end note to the article's bullet on gocara, but I could not come up with any intellectually relevent way. So, I hope you can understand, I decided that it was best to undo your edit.

It sounds like from the e-mail that you sent me that there might be some contemporary Hindu commentary regarding Sampajanna. If so, please educate me more on the topic and I'm sure we could add the information to this (or perhaps another?) article in a meaningful way.
