I have removed your additions to this article because the addition of substantive claims like this, especially ones that contradict reliable refs already cited, require references to be cited as explained at WP:V. Based on your user name I think you also need to have a careful read of WP:COI as well. - Ahunt (talk) 15:37, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have gone back over the existing references for the article and made some changes that the references do support, including moving it to Crown City Glider Club Screaming Wiener. See what you think. If you have additional references that can add to this then please do cite them. - Ahunt (talk) 16:55, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you this is perfect. I applogized for my comments ending up on the actual page, I actually thought they would go to you. This is my first experience with this site as a user. I promised my uncle that I would try to correct the history of the Weiner for him and Wally Nugent. The three were great friends and worked on several projects together in their youth. Irv became so famous that I think the history of the Weiner just became Irv Culver's over time rather than the three fellows.
The references that I have are all the original design documents, flight logs, and photographs of the actual construction of the Weiner and of course growing up as the niece of one of the designers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wlburkefamilytrust (talkcontribs)
I am glad the changes were helpful. I put the original article together from very skimpy references and the Soaring magazine one credited Culver with the entire design, if not the construction. The other refs cloud the issue somewhat, but your inputs helped sort out the more complete story. My aim is just to get the story right. If you have documents that shed more light and more detail then perhaps you can post excerpts or quotes on Talk:Crown City Glider Club Screaming Wiener and I will incorporate them into the article itself. - Ahunt (talk) 12:21, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
