Deleted images

[edit]

Please do not re-upload images that have already been deleted (the wallpapers from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory website), or this account will be blocked. Yes, we know it's you, User:MascotGuy. tregoweth 19:34, 22 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The reason one of the sentences reads "Two hundred forty-two Garfield episodes and 121 U.S. Acres episodes were produced" instead of "242 Garfield episodes..." is because it is considered proper to spell out a number if it begins a sentence. Just a helpful grammar hint. tregoweth 20:37, 22 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

GFDL

[edit]

You can not apply GFDL tags to graphics you find online that are owned by other people. If you create your own graphic and release it under the GFDL, then you can tag it {{GFDL}}. tregoweth 04:00, 23 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

IFD

[edit]

If you are going to mark an image for deletion, there is a procedure you have to follow (see WP:IFD); you can't just add an IFD tag. tregoweth 01:46, 24 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

The Wikipedia approach to Categories is that we generally only include an article in the lowest-level category. Thus, as Category:Willy Wonka brands is a sub-category of Category:Confectionery, we only include Tart 'n' Tinys in the latter. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:21, 24 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Tv hi fairlyoddparents 02.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tv hi fairlyoddparents 02.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
