July 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Voyageurs with this edit do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.  Velella  Velella Talk   16:55, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Archaic period in the Americas. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Per this [1]. Heiro 16:56, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Per all of your other contribs, which consist only of adding this link [2] into either wholly unrelated articles or inappropriately linking from article text, consider this a final warning on the matter. Insert this link one more time, and I will take this to the appropriate admin board, and seek to have this linkj added to our Wikipedia:Spam blacklist. Heiro 17:03, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Mobile, Alabama, you may be blocked from editing. Altairisfar (talk) 03:50, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.   Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:23, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
