Inappropriate

In case you missed my note, please don't reinstate others comments when they've removed them and nobody else has replied to them. Were you using Twinkle? Ncmvocalist (talk) 15:07, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

I did miss it. I couldn't see anything wrong with the message being put there, or that it'd broken any rules. If I reinstated it falsely, then I apologize. I was only doing what I thought was right.--Zucchinidreams (talk) 15:23, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Okay; no harm done. Take care when reverting material; chances are that if someone says self-rv, they're reverting themselves and it's possibly not appropriate to revert that. Often it means they're rethinking their edit, and it'll probably need more than a 1 minute glance from the person who made the edit, let alone anyone else. References

The {{Reflist}} tag is a sign that it should be under the References heading. So I have reverted your edits on Jack-in-the-box, Désirée Artôt, Lukoil-Beopetrol, and Marc-André Fleury. Please do not change it back, because your edits were in error. I just wanted to let you know so you did not continue to make this mistake. Thank you. Spidey104contribs 19:24, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Actually if you'll kindly refer to WP:The Missing Manual, you'll find that Notes should be the title under which sources should be put.--Zucchinidreams (talk) 19:29, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Look at the page you just linked to and you'll see it is formatted how I said. A list of sources outside of a {{Reflist}} tag would go under Notes. Spidey104contribs 19:31, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

You are wrong. It says notes is best practice for such a section. A piece of content which starts with "the" is not labelled the, now is it.--Zucchinidreams (talk) 19:33, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

1) Your argument about "the" is a straw man argument that holds no water. (2) The {{Reflist}} tag is an alternative to the <references/> tag. (3) Did you even go to the WP:The Missing Manual page that you yourself linked to? It supports me. Spidey104contribs 19:55, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

I'm afraid that chapter 2 supports me utterly. That's incontrovertible.--Zucchinidreams (talk) 20:10, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Would you mind linking directly to what you believe supports you? Because the page that you currently link to is formatted exactly how I said it should be. Spidey104contribs 20:16, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Just to make sure we are on the right page here, are you taking issue with me turning the title of the 'references section' into the 'notes section'? If so, then this: [1] supports me.

We are more or less on the right page. I am taking issue with most of your edits that are turning the title of the 'references section' into the 'notes section'. Some of them are correct, but NOT the ones where that section heading is for the {{Reflist}} or <references/> tags. I looked at the page you linked to and it supports neither of us. In its examples it actually shows articles using "References," "Footnotes," and "Notes". That is why I suggest you look at WP:The Missing Manual to see how that page is formatted. Spidey104contribs 20:42, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Fair-do's.--Zucchinidreams (talk) 20:43, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Does that mean you understand and agree with me? Spidey104contribs 20:46, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

It means I will only edit conservatively.--Zucchinidreams (talk) 08:18, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

The Smoking Gun

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from The Smoking Gun, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! As recently as today events discovered by this site were covered in mainstream news (http://www.philly.com/philly/hp/news_update/106653838.html?cmpid=15585797). I think this website, through past and current media coverage, has established sufficient notability for inclusion. --NDSteve10 (talk) 21:00, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Account compromise

Um, did you stay logged on where somebody can get to your computer? If further inappropriate activity ensues, I'll block this account until you can provide assurance that you have control of it. Acroterion (talk) 16:58, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Um I accidentally down-loaded a file to the wrong destination on my lap-top apologies.--Zucchinidreams (talk) 17:05, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
And created an article in the process (I'll spare everybody the title)!? Also, you put the talkback notice on my userpage rather than my talkpage. Acroterion (talk) 17:22, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Only warning

Based on the final line of this diff [2], you will be blocked if this or anything like it happens again. Acroterion (talk) 22:30, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

The article Theuglybugball.co.uk has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet the notability guidelines for web content.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. E. Fokker (talk) 19:59, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
