Wikipedia:Meetup/Boston/Plans
The regional Boston meetup has become more of a New England meetup, with regular visits from nearby cities and states, and even from New York and DC on occasion (always welcome!).
The local community is currently in the process of becoming a User Group, and organizing events for Summer and Fall 2013.
Group tasks

- Interim treasurer - someone to handle reimbursements. The group has gotten small event grants from neighboring chapters.
- Interim secretary - handling minutes and agendas for meetings. Sven?
- WLM liaison - someone to help plan participation in WLM this year. Antony?
- AffCom liaisons - points of contact with AffCom re: group status. Kevin + Maia?
- He didn't say so on July 20, but John--new guy, the lawyer one--is willing to review AffCom document(s) and probably wouldn't mind co-signing, if others are hesitant. If the New England group wishes to be a user group or a Chapter, which might still be undecided.
