Why are there two different airdates for Cybersix?[edit]

The note on the Talk page says it should only be used for the improvement of the article, so I thought I'd ask here. On the TV series article we have a list of airdates that shows its from Teletoon and they cite their source. But on the main article they list different airdates and there's no source, and I'm wondering why this is? WearyandHeavyLaden (talk) 20:56, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

According to the article on the TV series, the show originally aired on four networks or channels in four different countries, but the air dates shown are specifically for the Canadian channel Teletoon (in English and French). The other article says it shows the "original" air dates, so they might be different if the other channels sometimes showed episodes ahead of the Canadian ones and sometimes behind. However, in some cases the "original" dates are later than the Canadian ones, so there is still something wrong. I suggest writing something on the talk page of one of the articles, and then placing a {{contradicts other}} template at the top of each list, with parameters pointing to that talk page. --69.159.62.113 (talk) 05:43, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with 69's suggestion. I suspect the original air dates in the main article are simply the air dates for some other network, most likely Fox Kids in the US. Nil Einne (talk) 06:27, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks the both of you, but I'm a newb on Wikipedia and I'm not sure how to do the templates and parameters thing. I could go on the talk page and just mention it, or maybe someone else can ask?--WearyandHeavyLaden (talk) 22:43, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Nevermind, I read the instructions and was able to follow it. I added a section on the talk page to address this, and added {{contradicts other}}. Just some thoughts, I'm starting to think the airdates on the main article is Telefe since it also premiered on 6 September 1999, but I couldn't find the Telefe airdates anywhere else. And since the Teletoon airdates are before the "original" (maybe Telefe) airdates, maybe the Teletoon ones should be used?WearyandHeavyLaden (talk) 19:48, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
