Insubordination spy agency related[edit]

Greetings,

Mainly looking for help in finding refs for Inter-Services Intelligence insubordination controversy from Benazir Bhutto era.

After repeat success of Taliban, acknowledgement of Pakistan's intelligence agency's espionage ratings seem to have surged. Same time there is one ongoing alleged insubordination controversy regarding Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence . Then there was insubordination controversy in 2016. Though some political analysts seem to speculate these insubordination controversies are politically staged to balance and influence Pakistan's domestic opinion and mitigate international diplomatic pressures. While any spy agency related controversies are just tip of the ice burg in encyclopedia we do cover only openly publicized credible ones only.

While searching for refs online I got understanding that, most probably there is at least one more Inter-Services Intelligence insubordination controversy from Benazir Bhutto era, then internet and freedom of press was not too common. So I am looking for help in getting refs if any for such previous controversies.

On side note: Are there any similar credible insubordination of civilian govt by spy agencies cases and are those covered in WP?

Werewolf Book from 1980s - Juvenile Horror Series[edit]

Trying to find a book I read when I was about eight or nine in the late 1980s. There was a young woman, like a Nancy Drew like character (although it wasn't Nancy Drew) who was investigating murders around her home town. It turned out the murders were being committed by a werewolf who in human form was some respected member of the community (aren't they always? - Silver Bullet). As she dug deeper she found out the werewolf was actually an alien and the book went into how werewolves were alien scouts who could camouflage themselves as humans and the whole legend of werewolves had come about after one of their kind had been seen changing between human and wolf form. The werewolf book was part of a juvenile horror book series and the cover art had the girl wearing a werewolf costume at a Halloween party while the real werewolf was behind her. The only other thing i remember about the book was that the werewolf would say "You're a fool, what a magnificent fool you are" whenever he met the girl. does anyone know the title? -KTcup82 (talk) 06:09, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This one's not ringing any bells. Unless the series was Goosebumps, then I just don't remember that talking werewolf. That's how you know you're reading juvenile werewolf fiction, I've found, adults know what sounds a real wild dogman makes. Anyway, good luck! Seems Goosebumps started in '92. Try R.L. Stine#Stand-alone novels, maybe? My gut says Stine has something to do with this crazy costume party. InedibleHulk (talk) 06:41, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing conclusively Stine-related from Google yet, sorry. But you might want to not assume it was an '80s book. Your userpage suggests you turned eight in 1990 and were still very much nine in 1992. InedibleHulk (talk) 08:04, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting help in one more ref[edit]

WP article mentions that, Pakistan's spy agency ISI' then chief Syed Shahid Hamid was involved in inception of first military dictatorship of Ayub Khan (general). But the article Syed Shahid Hamid has not provided any ref., since related literature would be vast for me to search ref on my own I am looking for help in finding out ref.

Murano Island - Venetian glass[edit]

I see under Venetian glass#Major products and innovations that there are 11 types of major glass type creations made at Murano Island in the 13th century, plus goldstone, multicolored glass, and imitation gemstones which gives a total of 14 creation styles.
