Custom warning signs[edit]

"Sign engraving" would be a good search term for Yellow Pages etc. I make signs like these, using a laser engraver, many people use rotary engravers. The material is typically a multi-layered plastic laminate, of two colours. I find the DIN 4844-2 warning signs SVG signs from Commons to be very useful for this. Main Battle Tank[edit]

Good point, although I couldn't find a source which says exactly that. The poor elevation and depression in Soviet tanks was due to their obsession with keeping both the hull and the turret as low as possible. Armoured vehicle crew were said to be selected to be under 1.7 m (5 ft 7 in) so that they could squeeze into their tanks, whereas the British Household Cavalry didn't accept anybody shorter than 5 ft 9 in. All main battle tanks are limited in that because the main cannon usually reaches back inside the vehicle where it is loaded. At the same time they are constructed as flat as they can be so there is only limited space for tilting. --Kharon (talk) 23:37, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
