why comets don't rotate[edit]

coma of comets show that those are tidal locked and they rotation spin is less than one time at perihelion .What is the reason of such event?--Akbarmohammadzade (talk) 07:29, 12 January 2022 (UTC) I am an Iranian astrophysics researcher ,and it is my recent proposal ,if some one replay and give persian references no problem. and in case any question don't hestitate to contact me in address <removed>--Akbarmohammadzade (talk) 07:47, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My understanding is that the shape of the coma is formed by the solar wind blowing gas and dust away from the coma, forming a tail that points away from the Sun, regardless of whether the comet is rotating or not. The comets themselves do rotate, which can be seen dramatically if they squirt out a jet.[1] This page lists the rotation speeds of some comets. The tidal forces near perihelion cannot be nearly strong enough to overcome the angular momentum.  --Lambiam 10:43, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Human sexual attractiveness[edit]

Are there any reputable scientific studies which looks at why some human males are sexually attractive to more human females than others? 2A02:C7F:EA3E:8000:F41B:FE93:12F4:A2B7 (talk) 08:30, 12 January 2022 (UTC) Please note that I am looking for evidence based science here and not opinions. Thanks. 2A02:C7F:EA3E:8000:F41B:FE93:12F4:A2B7 (talk) 08:31, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Plenty. Have you looked at the articles on Sexual attraction and Physical attractiveness?--Shantavira|feed me 09:15, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Any answer, however, critically depends on the meaning of "why" in the question. Hear Richard Feynman discuss why Aunt Minnie is in hospital: Richard Feynman. Why.  --Lambiam 10:49, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't someone ask this question, worded almost identically, some months ago? --←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 15:16, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
