Just wrote an article and not sure what is the next step towards getting it published[edit]

Currently there is a page for Conservation grazing that include a hotlink to targeted grazing but I am requesting the creation of a separate page for Targeted grazing. Targeted Grazing is the application of a specific kind of livestock at a determined season, duration, and intensity to accomplish defined vegetation or landscape goals. Conservation grazing focuses solely on increasing biodiversity. If anything, conservation grazing is a sub discipline of targeted grazing. How can I make targeted grazing a stand-alone Wikipedia page?

@David.Toledo.p: I did a little cleanup of the article at User:David.Toledo.p/sandbox/Targeted Grazing, but it needs a lot of work to make sure that it is written in an appropriate encyclopedia tone, that it isn't promotional sounding, and that it clearly explains how it is different from Conservation grazing. Sentences like "Conservation grazing appears to have originated in the European" need to be backed up with citations, as they appear to be either original research or an original synthesis of sources, neither of which is allowed on Wikipedia. Once you feel that the article is ready, you can click on the "Submit your draft when you are ready for it to be reviewed!" button that I added to the top of the page. --Ahecht (TALK

I have just had an article on Deep Ocean Minerals rejected because it used 'copyrighted information'. However I do not understand what they mean. The information provided is fully referenced so this claim is very odd. Please can the reviewer be more clear as to what they perceive as copyrighted information? Thanks Thaiso

@Thaiso: According to the comments left by the reviewer, text in that article had been copied directly from http://www.harnisch.com/uploads/tx_harnisch/wfe_0314minerals_and_trace_elements.pdf. Even when you cite sources, the text of your article should be written in your own words. If you would like to remove the copied text and continue working on that article you can request that the last revision be emailed to you at WP:REFUND. --Ahecht (TALK

03:37:19, 31 January 2015 review of submission by Schradieck[edit]

My article was not accepted because there would seem to be copyrighted information in the article. I was very careful about providing footnotes for the statements and am not aware of having included copyrighted material. It would be helpful to know what material that was. Also, I meant it to be a biographical entry under the name "Mark Peskanov" but when I pasted the request to have the article reviewed and saved, it went right to the reviewer under its current rubric as my sandbox. Also, I thought the sandbox was not live online, but it appears in my google searches. How can I experiment and develop an article without it being online? Thanks. @Schradieck: The use of copyrighted text anywhere on Wikipedia, even in your sandbox, is not permitted. Wikipedia assumed that anything published on a website, unless it specifically states otherwise, if copyrighted. Even if you cite the original source, you need to put things in your own words.
You can request that the text of the article be emailed to you at WP:REFUND and edit it locally on your computer using a word processor program (something like Microsoft Word, Notepad, etc.). Once all copyrighted text has been removed you can publish the article in your sandbox again. If you just wish to view how your text will look on Wikipedia without publishing it, you can copy the text form your word processor into your sandbox and hit the "preview" button instead of "save page". --Ahecht (TALK

@Nikkolasd.12345: Wikipedia assumes that any text found on the internet, unless it specifically states otherwise, is copyrighted. Everything written in a Wikipedia article must be written in your own words, and cannot be copied and pasted from another website.
