Limitations[edit]

These represent most of those which didn't match up for check digit. I will attempt to update the list periodically. If you have problems, I will help resolve them if I can. Rich Farmbrough 19:37 27 August 2006 (GMT).

Note: SmackBot now marks individual books with an edit view visible template "Please check ISBN" which will list the cause of the ISBN being identified as a problem, if it's the checksum, it will give the calculated one as well. Rich Farmbrough, 22:25 14 December 2006 (GMT).

Delete or strikeout or do nothing?[edit]

Please remind me what you'd like us to do once an article is fixed from the list affiliated with this talk page. For instance, I just fixed Quantum_mysticism. I removed the tag, so it automatically no longer appears at [1]. Keesiewonder 00:58, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this list was generated by an obsolete method, so as such should be obsolete, however I've left it just in case there are any article with the old method (the category put at the bottom of the article). If it's not to musch hassle please remove any that are done. Also I've left the page so that the top part can be used for discussing "difficult" ISBNs. Rich Farmbrough, 20:55 28 December 2006 (GMT).
