What should we be discussing?[edit]

I regularly train people how to use Wikipedia. Most of the people for whom I present are long-term Wikipedia users who either have never edited or who have only edited a few times to see the process.

If you have an interest in using Wikipedia to help you achieve some goal you have, then please post on this page. Let's talk about your idea in a monthly meeting. Blue Rasberry (talk) 19:41, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wiki-Seattlites! I would like to invite you to again join the Great American Wiknic this June :) Also, please put any preliminary details at Wikipedia:Wiknic#2012 Wiknic.--Pharos (talk) 18:09, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Takes Seattle photo event in September[edit]

I'd like to encourage you good Wiki-Seattlites to start a Seattle page with Wikipedia:Wikipedia Takes America#Event page wizard. Or you can do the same at the regular Seattle meetup page if you like.--Pharos (talk) 21:36, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Infocamp Seattle[edit]

There is a conference called Infocamp Seattle happening Saturday and Sunday 14-15 October at the University of Washington. I went the past two years and loved it. It is an unconference, meaning that anyone can present on anything they want. It is well organized and well attended by excellent speakers. Seattle Public Library's director, Marcellus Turner, is giving the keynote. I think this may be of interest to Wikipedians.
