Reply to John Vandenberg[edit]

I feel a need to reply to "Tryptofish is trying to make this about EEng vs ChrisGualtieri, unnecessarily personalising the dispute. They just want sanctions if the article doesnt say what they want it to say, and formatted the way they want it formatted." That's not what I think, nor what I've said. My reason for being involved in this way is that I was asked to do it, and I actually do not care that much how the article ends up being written or formatted, just that there be consensus and peace. A review of what I have tried to do should make it very clear that I have tried over and over to de-personalize it. If I wanted sanctions, I wouldn't be at MedCom. I'd be somewhere where sanctions are given out. When other editors have gone looking for sanctions, I've argued that we should treat it as a content dispute. --Tryptofish (talk) 23:25, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See: Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard/Archive 86#Phineas Gage, Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive829#Personal attacks and OWN violations, User talk:Tryptofish#A more personal response on the Gage matter, User talk:Tryptofish#Inquiring minds (and brains) want to know, User talk:Tryptofish#Gage matter, User talk:Tryptofish#Gage again, and Talk:Phineas Gage/Archive 6#WP:BRD. (These are all links that I've also given on the request page.) Really, this is nothing like me trying to personalize the dispute, get anyone sanctioned, or take sides! --Tryptofish (talk) 23:59, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
