The 1930 World Snooker Championship snooker tournament was played in various location throughout the season, with final being held at the Thurston's Hall, London, England.[1][2]

Joe Davis won his fourth World title, by defeating Tom Dennis 25–12 in the final. Davis also made a 79 break, the highest break in the history of the tournament, [2] breaking his own record he set in the previous year.[3]
