Yukari Sato
Yukari Sato (佐藤 ゆかり, Satō Yukari, born August 19, 1961) is a Japanese economist and politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Setagaya, Tokyo, she graduated from Sophia University, and she received a master's degree in international relations from Columbia University and a Ph.D in economics from the New York University. After working as an economist at Credit Suisse First Boston, she was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 2005. However, she lost her seat in 2009 general election.
Trivia
Among the users of 2channel, she is called "Yukari-tan" with much intimacy and moe attraction, along with a sense of mockery among some.[citation needed]
