Zuidermeer (52°40′N 4°59′E / 52.667°N 4.983°E) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Wester-Koggenland, and lies about 6 km west of Hoorn.
The statistical area "Zuidermeer", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 480.[1]
