Tyler Morris (born November 18, 2003) is an American football wide receiver for the Michigan Wolverines. He has played for Michigan since 2022.[1][2]
Early years
Morris was born in Bolingbrook, Illinois, in 2003. He attended Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Illinois, where he was teammates with J. J. McCarthy. In May 2019, McCarthy said of Morris: "Tyler will be one of the best kids to come out of the Midwest. Thank God I have him as a shadow. It will be a fun couple of years."[3] McCarthy and Morris connected for 68 receptions, 1,237 yards, and 17 touchdowns in 2019.[4]

Morris enrolled at the University of Michigan in 2022. As a freshman, he saw limited playing time in eight games, tallying three receptions for 25 yards.[6]
As a sophomore in 2023, Morris played at wide receiver and also returned punts for Michigan.[6] Through the first seven games of the season, he tallied eight receptions for 99 yards. He also had six punt returns for 84 yards, an average of 14 yards per return.[7]
