Hi editors: I'm wondering if I can start to submit updated suggested edits to the LabVantage page that bring it up to speed? They've had a lot of developments in recent years and I think we can offer some further definitions that can really help visitors and researchers understand and connect with the laboratory management area even more. Specifically, I'm wondering if I can start submitting sections one at a time here in my personal Sandbox section for you to review, starting with an Introduction section? And then moving on to additional sections, such as Company, Platform, LIMS/LIS, ELN, LES, SDMS, Services, and History? Our goal is not to be promotional - just factual. If that works, below is a draft of the first section (two small paragraphs), the Introduction - does it look good to you?

LabVantage Solutions, Inc. provides browser-based laboratory informatics[1] software, including Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)[2], Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN)[3], Laboratory Execution System (LES), and Scientific Data Management System (SDMS). It also provides advanced analytics leveraging artificial intelligence[4], machine learning[5], and predictive analytics[6].

The integrated software is used by research and development, manufacturing quality, testing and other laboratories across multiple industries: pharmaceutical and biotechnology, biobanking, cancer research, contract testing, consumer packaged goods, diagnostics, food and beverage, forensic, oil and gas, and public health. For healthcare settings, a multidisciplinary Laboratory Information System (LIS) is offered.
