Theo Caldwell is a Canadian, Irish and American businessman, writer, former television host and president of Caldwell Asset Management.[1]
Education and career
Caldwell was educated at Upper Canada College (UCC), graduating in 1991.[2] He also holds a BA in English from Trinity College (University of Toronto)[3] and a Masters in public policy from the University of London.[4]
In the 2000 Canadian federal election, Caldwell was the Canadian Alliance candidate in the Toronto riding of St. Paul's receiving 11.7% of the vote.[5]
Caldwell has been a columnist for the Toronto Sun[6] and the National Post.[7]
He is the author of a children's book, Finn the Half-Great, published in 2009[8][9] which debuted as the top teen literature book in the country that year[4] and was named as one of the Toronto Star's top holiday fantasy reads for children.[10]
Sun News Network
In mid-April 2011, Caldwell was announced as host of The Caldwell Account, a news and analysis show on Sun News Network.[11][12] He left the network the week of June 27, 2011.[13][14]
