For your future reference, ''meatpuppetry'' involves deliberate coordination – either covertly off-wiki, or through inappropriate on-wiki canvassing – of two or more editors' contributions in order to circumvent restrictions on edit warring and reverting, and/or (particularly where new and/or inexperienced accounts participate) in order to generate a misleading appearance of consensus through strength of numbers. Meatpuppetry is considered a violation of the [[WP:SOCK|sockpuppetry policy]], and is treated harshly on the project. Casually misusing the term to describe other editors' actions is needlessly inflammatory and is itself a violation of Wikipedia's user conduct policies. Note particularly that the simple fact two editors might agree about something (and disagree with you) does not rise to the level of 'meatpuppetry' or other misconduct. |

You made an inappropriate and unjustified accusation at AN/I because you weren't really familiar with the nuances of 'meatpuppetry', and someone called you on it.
